It can be difficult for many. This year will be different for us as my husband needs dialysis 3 times a week & will be @ the hospital for it this year. At least we still will be able to have Christmas together.

I can only wish all who have/are going through this to stay strong. My Dad went through this & I was his carer during that time. I feel for all who go through this.

Thank you for sharing. My husband is also a Type 2 Diabetic (diagnosed 21 yrs ago) & I'm always looking for different recipes suitable for him.

My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic who has been on metformin for ages, however whilst in hospital last year he ended up catching covid (in spite of full vaccination etc). I question as to the research & results relating to metformin & long covid.

Hopefully those who have their orders delivered (such as those who are housebound & can't physically shop in store) will be accounted for soon. We have had a number of our deliveries split in the driveway before reaching our door.

SandraD22, as a now retired RN (40 yrs), I totally agree with your post. What patients & their family members went (& still do) through at times was heart-breaking for them & their carers.
