Really veggie? Try living in Tasmania, you could drive around the entire state & still come back with absolutely nothing!Maybe, but I always drove up to 700 kms round trip for something I REALLY needed when I lived in a regional area.
If you have an iPhone use Apple PayI've used Paypal for years, they're great until you have a problem. I'm looking at alternatives. Any suggestions?
Someone is trying to scam you, I also have received several emails and messages stating similar, so you are doing the right thing.I have never used Paypal, but keep getting sent information my Paypal account needs to be renewed,
I send to scam and block
But you still have your bank acc details onlineDont deposit money into paypal, use it straight out
Did PayPal reimburse you ?
l also use a certain bank for automatic payments which has just enough money in to do this. l use paypal sometimes but l never have any fee from them so how come they can keep going?. Logic tells me it must come from the seller but if l'm the one using paypal it doesn't make sense. That's a very good additional idea. Thanks.

It's what I thought as well, but just to be certain I looked into it a bit further. This is what I uncovered that may help your understanding of the process of how Paypal makes money.
PayPal primarily makes its money by charging transaction fees to businesses and merchants who use its platform for processing payments. As a consumer, when you use PayPal to make purchases, you are typically not charged a fee. This is because the fees are usually borne by the merchants or sellers who use PayPal as a payment gateway.
Here’s why:
So, while PayPal doesn’t typically charge consumers for making purchases, they do charge fees in certain situations. These fees are a key part of their business model and help cover the costs of providing their services.
- Merchant Fees: Most of the fees charged by PayPal are for merchants using its platform. In these cases, PayPal is offering its services as a payment gateway to merchants, to help customers enjoy a smooth checkout experience. These fees cover operating expenses and generate profit.
- Consumer Transactions: When it comes to basic transactions, like sending or receiving money between PayPal accounts within the US, (and Australia) the payment transfer platform is free. However, if you’re buying or selling cryptocurrencies, sending money internationally, or making transfers from a credit card, PayPal fees will apply.
- Fees are also charged on currency conversions, cross-border transactions, fund transfers from customers’ PayPal or Venmo accounts to their debit cards or bank accounts, cryptocurrency transactions, and other miscellaneous fees
It's not just Paypal. When banks etc charge merchant service fees as well as transaction fees, for using the banks eftpos machines it does prompt smaller merchants to charge a transaction fee on top of the purchase amount for a consumer to pay. That is a choice merchants have to make in this price sensitive tough world they operate in.
