Yeah, but we're talking about online payments here. I always try to pay with cash when I can.
Don't worry! I see online purchasing as being a poor alternative to purchasing in person.

I have only bought three items online in my life. Two tickets for the Big Day Out in 2004, a driveshaft for a front wheel drive Mazda 2 and a 3 metre x 6 metre cyclone rated garden shed in about 2010. Nothing ever since, mainly due to the proliferation of scamdogs.

I have used Pay Pal for 20yrs never had a problem. The credit card attached has a very small limit just in case.

Thanks again for that tip Clancieblue, I have now placed $ transaction limits on cards that I can adjust for very short time frames at will.

I have always had an online international lock on the cards that I can put off and back on after I pay for something. But now have the additional security of knowing crooks won't get much on any one day if spent in Australia, due the transaction limit.
