I’ve Just Noticed

Not a biggie but has anyone else noted the poor sleep habits of forum members?

I sleep very poorly and always have done but keep getting told of the negative health consequences of poor sleep. In a recent hospital based sleep study I thought I had slept well but the technician indicated insufficient data to get a scientific result. So now my sleep habits are a topic of conversation with a Sleep Physician.

I’m really curious about this as my average night is 4 hr 18 minutes with 10 awake periods. Does anyone else experience similar? I would love to hear 😴😴😴 😳😳😳

I tend to find it tough to fall asleep and wake up... I feel terrible if I get less than 8 hours, but often I wont get to sleep until 1 or 2am and then find it really difficult to wake up at a 'normal' hour.

Have you tried melatonin?

Yes, I’ve tried melatonin without success. I’ve undertaken Sleep Hygiene practices over many months, even stopped coffee ☕️, but these have had no benefit. After several stints in hospital it has been identified that I have a number os issues that impact on a decent nights sleep. Despite never sleeping well though I have noticed other SDC members awake at all odd hours.
Are we all tarred with the same brush or are sleep issues synonymous with the SDC? 🤣🤣🤣
Do members have strategies that work for them? If you do it would be great if you would share!
