History is a tool we should learn from. But too many people think it is unappealing. How can you learn when you don't put in an effort?

Hi Nana Zorak, I’ve finished 3 books in Peter Watts series, starting with Cry of the Curlew then the next two. I have purchased the fourth so I’m ready to go. Our early history certainly has some dark elements, I will never understand the unnecessary slaughter of our indigenous people or the way white people consider themselves to be superior to others. Most wealthy land or business owners were so devious and so much for no slavery in Australia ever! These books are certainly worth the read. Thank you for recommending them.

I have the privilege of knowing Peter and working with him before he became an author. He is a great writer and prior to that had many different jobs in different places, so has the experience that good writer's need.
