    We very rarely shop online because the use by dates of the produce can be stupid. The last time we did we got 2 litres of milk with the use by date being the next day and the fruit was all bruised.

    We even used to take them to school. Almost a complete armory with the kids showing of after Xmas :) Plastic swords looked good, but home made wooden ones never broke.🔫 🤺

    Napalm in the morning :) I too am addicted to that smell of gunpowder. Even today when the grand-kids let of one of those very dangerous :) poppers the smell takes me back.

    I was a bit spoiled as my sister and brother had weetbix and all they got was crummy cards :) But they went through a packet much faster than I could a box of weeties :) Always wanted cornflakes as loved them when I stayed over a mates place, but we could never aford them.

    I'm a cabinet maker by trade and love working with wood. I work 20+ hours aweek as the grounds and maintenance man at St Mary's Primary School here in Kal. In the arvos and on weekends it's good to grab a beer and get down the shed, out of the way. Reading is another obsession and Doco's on TV

    HOW TO RECYCLE YOUR OLD GLASSES

    I belong to the Hannan's Goldfields Lions club in Kalgoorlie and we collect used glasses from the 3 local optometrists to post over seas. We average about 1500 pairs a year.

    I think the real reason I liked Weeties was for the toys. As mentioned, the Neddy's, they also had race cars you put together plus heaps of other stuff. As soon as the grocer delivered a new box, I'd ope it and search out the toy :)
