Inflation is currently running at about 2.5%, while the pension increase of $4.60 per fortnight is 0.4%. Tell me how that is fair. Not to mention as someone already has, the huge increases in insurances in particular and other costs of living, how can we possibly keep up?

My idea of road safety is to take away the licences of the idiot drivers who run red lights, and think stop signs are a suggestion, etc, etc. Watch dash-cam on YouTube and you'll see so many reckless drivers doing stupid things. They have no right to be on our roads.

I have replied before about similar promos, but they won't change, because everyone who clicks on it opens up thousands of ads which benefit SDC. What they do is morally wrong, IMO.

For those of you who don't know, those eligible (pensioners, etc.) can get scripts for $6.70. All you have to do is ask your chemist for it, as I did nearly two years ago. Saves $1.00 each, at least in NSW.

SDC, where are you getting these figures from? I am on an Aged Pension, and since April of last year, I have been receiving $1116.30 per fortnight. With an increase of $28.10, that will put the total up to $1144.40 per fortnight for single pensioners, not $1,047.10 as you say. Please explain!

Another spelling error is 'we're' instead of the correct 'we've'. Scammers will nearly always get something wrong.

There is a very useful phone app everyone should have. It shows the public toilets near to where you are, and usually the opening times, etc. The app is called "Where is Public Toilet".

At any time of the year, I choose a day that will be sunny (or at least no rain or showers) to do my washing, and it dries outside on a line in a few hours. A light breeze is always best for faster results.
