Some great topics there. I don't judge transgender or gay people but what I hate is where 5 year old boys think they are girls and visa versa. Children are just that and at 5 years old they wouldn't know what they are or want.
My son is a teacher and resigned from a school that had 6 transgender kindergarten children starting the following year.
That is unbelievable Suzanne rose. How can a small child be transgender? I’m not judgemental on these issues but it does worry me that things are going too far. I was discussing this with me sister in law yesterday & she had attended a work shop on LGBTQI etc, people as she has a daughter who is gay & a grandchild who is trans. She said that our young people are becoming so confused & that apparently it’s a small minority of very loud voices that are causing a lot of problems. I think most people are happy to let people be but we don’t want things constantly in our faces. Surprisingly she had heard of the expressions of “birthing parent” or the even more absurd “chest feeding” both of which I consider to be ridiculous.

I always sat in the back when I had a newborn baby, and continued to sit in the back unless one of my older kids came with us.
It was a security thing with me and my choice.
Hubby always carried bags ect while I carried the baby.
My hubby was an engineer and had a van so l couldn't sit in the back with my newborn babies.
Then the only times l did go out in it was to see his mum. l used a pram and walked everywhere one inside and one on top

Things are becoming ridiculous. My son was told he would have two transgender children and asked if he could teach a different classroom as this was against his religious belief . When he was told no he then resigned and was given a deputy principles job in a private school.

My son said problem is some parents see their son playing with a doll or daughter with cars and then start planting things in their kids brains. It's happening more and more.
Sadly there are some crazy parents out there.

I remember having a double pram with two babies inside, one one the hood and one standing at the front.

You had said you got locked out of sdc which is why you are now still ebby , is that right ?
@Littleboy8 can't log in, which is why she hasn't been on here for 2 weeks.

Just had a thought Maybe a thread on exercising. Maybe exercises that work for people.

My daughter who is a P.E teacher plus a personal trainer at a gym she just told me I'm going to her gym next Wednesday to start weight training.
She said it's very important for even elderly people ( she then said but your not old) to do weight training and resistance . This is not just good for your muscles but bones as well.

This is my daughter training someone.

I will add photos next week of training .

I think a post on exercise would be amazing

One of my great nephews like’s to wear his sister’s dresses as he loves sparkly things and the feel of softy, fluffy fabrics. He started to say he was a girl & wanted to grow his hair which is beautifully curly, but when my niece said to him “if you think you should be a girl that’s fine but once you change you will be a girl forever“. He concluded that was a terrible idea and that he’s a boy after all.
He‘s 8 now & will still wear a dress occasionally. I thought that his mum handled the situation beautifully.

Can you imagine if his mum actually encouraged him , he would probably be thinking he was a girl now.

It's normal when their is a a sister n brother, for the boy wanting to play with dolls or girls with cars and for boys to be attracted to pretty colours.
I remember when I was little my brother or boy cousins got into trouble if they played with my dolls.

I don't see anything wrong with a boy playing dolls with their sister ,but it's only playing .

I enjoy a lot of different music. No favourites. I have a loaded USB with a bunch of songs to listen in my car.
Hi I have recently heard an old song, "Flame Trees" Jimmy Barnes, recently Sarah Blanko. I became very emotional about it and cannot think why, will you listen to it and let me know if you think I am over reacting?

Yes, it's a good song. No, not over reacting. Songs can give an emotional response. Remember The Pretenders "I'll Stand By You" song with the advert for the animals? That was soul-stirring.

lt's not just about her being in the back seat is it?
No it’s not Ebby. Where she or anyone else sits is irrelevant, it’s because she was accompanied by a male who did nothing to help her. Unfortunately you tried but very few members want to rationally discuss their views on really important issues that are going to affect future generations.

There are some parents from the U.S. that don't announce their babies gender until said child is old enough themselves to say what they are, they have big parties for them 😯
I wonder what appears on their birth registration/certificate. To Be Advised? If so, will this be affected by the new President's only 2 legally recognised genders?
My 1st thought, on the return to 2 genders, was how will this affect incoming travellers with 'other-gender' passports?
