Pasta with a difference
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo peeled de-veined shrimp
- Imagine Louisiana Creole Simmer Sauce
- 1/2 cup cream or half and half
- 1/2 kilo fettuccine
Instructions
- Brown your shrimp lightly in your sauce pan.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water for your fettuccine to boil, and add pasta.
- Add your simmer sauce to the shrimp.
- Add your cream to the sauce and shrimp and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve the shrimp and sauce over the pasta and enjoy!
A suitable substitute for Creole seasoning can be made by combining equal parts of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper. Adjust the heat level according to your preference by increasing or decreasing the amount of cayenne pepper. Or any Cajun seasoning blend
