I certainly keep chocolate in the fridge in summer - which is more than half the year in Queensland, where I live. I don’t like getting chocolate sauce all over my fingers!
 
With Basil, I grow my plants and near seasons end, take all the leaves of and freeze them. The basil actually seems better when frozen and I have a constant supply all year round. Same works with sage.

I put chocolate in the fridge but I put it in the egg or vegie compartments, as it's not as cold in those parts or I use a small cooler bag to store the chocolate (fridge)

Keeping chocolate in the fridge is a necessity in tropical Australia unless you want chocky sauce instead..
I never put my bread or baked goods in the fridge..it makes them tough. I freeze and thaw what i need..it thaws out soft and yummy. Especially if you toss it in a low oven for a minute or two. And if you leave out tomato sauce it goes mouldy around the lid, in a very short time. Lots of stuff needs to be refrigerated out here that normally wouldn't be in colder climes.

hardly out of nappies and knows everything. I'm so sick of know alls who know nothing especially about life. If I know so little how in the name of heaven did I get to 81? Same goes for the big mouthed people of sport...the has beens . This mob need to get a proper Job.
Goes without saying and even the polititions are just as bad and unfortunately we have to vote them in only to discover they are idiots anyway!
