I have just installed a Rheem hot water system. Does anyone know whether the booster switch on the wall should be turned on at all times, ie., 24/7? Or it only needs to be turned on when you need the hot water? Thanks

Hey Jim! I've searched online, and this is what I found: For most Rheem hot water systems, the booster switch is typically only used when you need extra hot water quickly. It doesn’t need to be left on 24/7, as keeping it on constantly can use more electricity than necessary. Your standard hot water use will usually be handled by the main system without the booster. It’s always a good idea to check your specific model’s manual, as some systems may have different settings or recommendations.

Have a talking male budgie named "Buddy" and my life companion is Maltese- Shih Tzu - Toy Poodle boy named "Mydnite" (Mydi for short) - he is black in colour hence the name. He loves to play soccer, fetch & chasey, so he keeps me young.
