Good Morning Everyone,
My name is Diane, I live in Sydney in a beautiful area around a lake where you can have great bbques (when you are allowed) areas for children to really enjoy the outdoors. I live with my wonderful husband of 47 years , we met on a blind date over 50 years ago still very happy with each other..
We have a son and daughter, 3 grand daughters and 6 great grand children only 1 being a girl. I enjoy my garden which is a great out let in these time, I love to cook especially trying new recipes for my diabetic husband, I love using my iPad and computer,.. I also am a fan of Tai Chi which I have been doing for over 20 years, now I do it through Zoom which is one of the great inventions We are always busy doing something around the house and have not found the lock down to worry us too much, the only thing is it has restricted us from seeing our family which is very sad. I am sure things will eventually quiet down and it will be better for all, unfortunately a little different to what we are used to.
I look forward to seeing posts from the group and thank you for accepting me as a member.

Diane, sounds like the gardening and tai chi are great hobbies for staying sane during lockdown! I just came back from a long walk.

Thanks for accepting me. I live in Canberra.

I am a retired podiatrist receptionist and am enjoying my retirement knitting, crocheting reading and gardening at the moment as we are in lock down.

I love to travel when I can and am looking forward to seeing more of the world when I can.

Hi All, I live in Gippsland with my husband and 2 of my adult children + their partners. Latest addition to the house is a granddaughter 7weeks old. She was born 7 weeks premature so she is not quite newborn size. We also have 2 dogs, 3 cats (not all mine), budgies, cockatiels and princess parrots. I have another adult son who was meant to be getting married last year, cancelled due to covid. New date was set for last weekend, cancelled again due to covid. I had another son who lived at home, he passed away unexpectedly last year.

I am a Beauty Dermal Therapist who specialises in microderbrasion to try to stop the clock and anti-aging. I'm unable to work due to Covid lockdown but I've been selling online.
I am due to be in hospital in a couple of weeks for a procedure for my spine and I'll be in for a week but the hospital won't even allow my husband to visit due to Covid lockdown even though we're both fully vaccinated.
My son's still live at home but my daughter has moved in with her in-laws, so I haven't seen my baby grandson for a while.
I enjoy reading and painting and I am currently studying. I am not sure what else to write. But thank you for your group
