Hi guys! Welcome to the forum. Please keep the following rules in mind when posting.

- Don't reveal any sensitive information. There's no need to use your full name on here. Don't post your phone number, address, or any other personal details. We'll never ask you for things like bank account or credit card information so please keep them to yourself and use common sense. Send us a message if you see anything suspicious and we will investigate.

- Don't be racist. This forum is a Politically Correct free zone, but that's no excuse for being nasty or bigoted. Australians come in all shapes, colours, and sizes - if you disagree with that, this forum isn't for you.

- Keep politics in the appropriate place. There's a politics forum for a reason guys!

- No advertising / self promotion. Don't post any business / commercial messages without checking with us first.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. My name is Therese Vincent. I live in the beautiful state of Tasmania, in the foothills of Mt. Wellington (kenunya). I am also only 10mins by car from the city centre. I am 68 but have been retired for many years through ill health. I have had two back surgeries and I still have too much pain. I keep busy which helps. I volunteer at our local community centre twice a week, I love art, using mostly watercolours or pastels. Gardening is also a favourite pastime. Therese Vincent.

About new bank account ID confirmation. Is it legal for a bank employee to call a JP to again verify a persons ID. I believe a JP may not talk to an unknown person on the phone. Thanks IMB for 3 weeks of anxiety

Hi I'm Rose and I've just found my way here... I'm a bit late in introducing myself but I just wanted to come in to say Hi everyone!! I'm still trying to navigate my way around here. I'll get there, (wherever 'there' is 😆)
I'm loving the Games and Jokes sections, so maybe I'll see you there. 👋
