Good morning all! I have been getting the newsletters for ages and finally worked out how to register. Not very savvy with technology :), confused with the terminology used, get downright lost at times, but I will do my best to navigate in this new world I've entered. I am a retired teacher aide but previous to that did mostly office work so I'm okay with the typing and I'm a good spellerer! Hope to find my comfort zone within your community. Regards, Sandy
Welcoooome, @A Noni Mouse! Thank you for joining our community. Technology can be quite confusing sometimes, so there is absolutely no pressure on our end. If you ever need any help navigating the forum, the SDC team is here to help! :D

Oh, and please feel free to share a little something about yourself. We enjoy having chats with everyone!

Welcome aboard the SDC, @prettybee! We're glad to have you as a part of the club :) Can you share a few things about yourself with us? We'd love to get to know you better!

Re Aldibmeaks for under. $3. Forget them. Ive tried most and complained about them. Put sauce on the box and eat that. Taste better. More nutritious.

Want cheap meal
Open tin of beans. Toast a slice of bread shovel some heated beans on top and add a fried egg. Under $2. Get your beans bread and eggs at Aldi. I believe good eating gives good health keeps everything working..I have been caught up by some nasties but still on the ball for an oldie. Temporary member.

Good Morning Everyone,
My name is Diane, I live in Sydney in a beautiful area around a lake where you can have great bbques (when you are allowed) areas for children to really enjoy the outdoors. I live with my wonderful husband of 47 years , we met on a blind date over 50 years ago still very happy with each other..
We have a son and daughter, 3 grand daughters and 6 great grand children only 1 being a girl. I enjoy my garden which is a great out let in these time, I love to cook especially trying new recipes for my diabetic husband, I love using my iPad and computer,.. I also am a fan of Tai Chi which I have been doing for over 20 years, now I do it through Zoom which is one of the great inventions We are always busy doing something around the house and have not found the lock down to worry us too much, the only thing is it has restricted us from seeing our family which is very sad. I am sure things will eventually quiet down and it will be better for all, unfortunately a little different to what we are used to.
I look forward to seeing posts from the group and thank you for accepting me as a member.
To all the members keep healthy and safe
regards
Hi to all, I'm a new member, recently when shopping at Woolworths I found that they seem to have discontinued their 700g packs of Weeties and replaced them with 510g packs, they dropped the price from $6.50 to $6.00, the price they were charging for the 700g pack less than 12 months ago. I then went to my nearest Coles store and picked up a standard 510g Weeties pack for $5.00. We now do our post ALDI shopping at Coles

Hi, my name is Di and I live at South West Rocks. I love being close to the ocean, which I can hear at night. I am a part-time 'checkout chick' for Woollies and a semi retired Interior Designer. I make curtains and roman blinds.
I live alone and love to travel to see new places. Thank you, have a great day.
