Thanks Jonathan for the lovely welcome. I’m 74 years of age and live in a small suburb of Rockingham in Western Australia. We’re very close to the ocean and love the life of retirement. Unfortunately my husband has Multiple Sclerosis and is not in good health and I have a lung disease together with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. We’ve been happily married for 56 years and he is the love of my life. We take one day at a time and love being by the beach with the clear sea air. I enjoy gardening but I’m very limited with energy as I’m on oxygen twenty four seven. We have one daughter as our son is
‘deceased and six grandchildren with one beautiful great granddaughter. I’m looking forward to reading the magazine each week. Absolutely loved the story on the life of Dennis. Very emotional while reading such a beautiful story.

Thanks for the welcome Jonathon. Have enjoyed reading the e-newsletter, so decided to join. Am disabled through Guillain Barre Syndrome and rarely leave home, so most of my socialisation is via on-line formats. Have wonderful support workers who collect and return library books for me-am a voracious reader, take me to the local pool for hydrotherapy, and provide general help. Am a member of a local Artists' Society, which means that I can express many things visually and have the works exhibited. A wonderful friend has created an amazing potted garden along my ramp and with hanging baskets from the ramp rails. Would still love one day to be able to travel right around Australia!
