Duchess’ regret: One thing she wishes she could undo amidst royal scrutiny

The fairy tale of marrying a prince and becoming a duchess has long been a dream for many, but for Meghan Markle, the reality of royal life has reportedly been a relentless challenge.

The Duchess of Sussex, who once graced our screens as the paralegal Rachel Zane on the hit TV series Suits, is said to yearn for the days before her royal title and the global scrutiny that came with it.

Millions around the world watched Meghan's transition from Hollywood actress to senior member of the British Royal Family.

Her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018 was a global event, celebrated and scrutinized equally.

However, less than two years into their royal roles, the Sussexes made the unprecedented decision to step back from their duties and move to California.

A source close to the Sussexes recently confided to OK! Magazine that Meghan misses the 'care-free' life she had before her royal engagement.

'Meghan has made no secret of how much she misses her carefree life when she was an actress, and while she’d never change what she has with Harry and the kids, there is a big part of her that she wishes she could just get her old life back,' the source revealed.

‘She loved being in Suits and all the opportunities it gave her. She’d get invited to all the exclusive events and get to hang out with Hollywood A-listers, but there was so much less scrutiny and attention, and there was no pressure on her.’

Meghan's struggles with the media and her quest for privacy have been well-documented.

In a candid moment at a film festival in Texas, she shared her strategy of avoiding social media to protect her mental health.

Adding to the Duchess's challenges, an upcoming German investigative documentary threatens to delve into her past, potentially stirring up more public interest and commentary.

Ulrike Grunewald's documentary for the ZDF network aims to provide an in-depth look at Meghan's life before her royal chapter.

The production team has even travelled to Montecito, California, to speak with Harry and Meghan's neighbours to gain insight into the couple's private life.

However, the project has hit a snag, with the production team pausing to seek legal advice over the content.

‘The team wants to make sure that everything used on Meghan Markle is correct,’ they said.

‘Every detail will be checked and double-checked to ensure that it is legally sound and factually correct.’

In related news, Meghan Markle faced social media backlash after a video surfaced showing her seemingly telling a woman not to stand next to Prince Harry at a polo event.

The widely discussed incident has led some to label the Duchess's behaviour 'rude'. Read more about this news here.

Five and I am always leaving them everywhere. Bedroom, TVroom, lounge, kitchen, car, patio, on top of things,
under things, lol
My daughter, who is supposed to be the one with a disability, usually manages to find them for me. The other day she found three pair and said to me. "Mum, you really are a basket case"
I think she's right!
I only have one and I lose them all the time. Sometimes on top of my head💬

Actually,I do have a distant relative that has all the "characteristics" outlined in MEDICAL JOURNALS of a narcissist, but that does not mean I would call him one or write his name on this site and openly call him one,I don't have his medical papers in front of me that actually use those words, by the medical people that stamped his forehead with the diagnosis.Hence I don't believe I am qualified to name call.Narcissistic has now become as common a word to use as UN AUSTRALIAN🤣
COME.ON PEOPLE LETS LIGHTEN UP....WHY DONT WE DiSCUSS THE INDIGENOUS PATTERN ON THE BACK OF THE.OF THE QANTAS PLANES AGAIN.....WE even had reference to "Hitler "in that furore🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where are you veggie patch,This is truely becoming a gossip magazine..
Un-Australian??? 95% talking here are of that ilk…’Strayans’ just don’t do incessant whinging and nasty quite as well. No wonder the British Press are as horrible as they are - they write to the tone of the British subjects. I was under the impression that all these commentators actually still live in the Motherland.

Thank you, I do wish you and your husband all the best, sending best wishes and prayers your way.
This is so sad, you are so much younger than me (77) and should have been able to have many more years together.
I shall take my daughter out for a drive today. She likes to get out but although lovely and sunny today, it is bitterly cold, so I think a car ride would be more appropriate.
Apparently I'm going to help her do a jigsaw tomorrow, so she
tells me. Despite her disability she is very good at them.
So I guess that takes care of our weekend.🥰
Love to you and your daughter.

Thank you, unfortunately I'm in WA but shall make some enquiries here.
Do so,I hear there are a few in Melbourne and Sydney, but ask for advanced PREMIUM LENSES and a specialist that can use and has access to buy these particular ones,it doesn't matter if you don't have cataracts, the procedure is the same, instead of putting in the old clear lenses my parents got for their cataracts, someone Ingenius overseas thought "why not put a script on the lense and the wearer won't need glasses for distance" or "they won't need glasses for reading" you had to choose.Great distance and still have reading glasses or other way around, but the ability to fix all three is more revolutionary, but not new in America which is ALWAYS ahead of us.Of course ,you need extensive tests, non of which hurt in any way, mainly photos of the backs of the eyes etc,to see if your are a candidate, mine even fix astigmatism too, which is unbelievable!!!I have stopped straightening picture frames on everyone's walls when I visit.Everything looked crooked before 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Not any more.
Hubby calls it my HIGH DEFINITION EYESIGHT.....Only downside....the spiderwebs in the small corner now are clear, and what I thought looked pretty clean.. WASN'T 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes but my eyesight pre op looked clean with my glasses, and it wasn't.When the specialist went in he said "how have you managed, you were legally blind when I took your inside measurements from the inside!!!" Yet the optometrist would keep changing my scripts every year and making one eye for distance, the other for near,it was absolutely horrible.Best money I will ever spend.
