Meghan Markle under fire for her ‘rude’ gestures at polo event

The world of royalty often has its fair share of protocol and etiquette.

However, a recent incident involving Meghan Markle at a polo event has sparked a flurry of debate and speculation, highlighting the intense scrutiny faced by the Duchess of Sussex.

At the Royal Salute Polo Challenge held at the Grand Champions Polo Club in the United States, Meghan Markle was seen in a video that has since gone viral on social media platforms.

In the footage, Meghan appeared to be directing a woman away from standing next to Prince Harry during a photo opportunity, suggesting she move to another spot with the words, 'So do you want to come over here? Do you want to go over here?'

This brief interaction has been dissected by netizens, with some branding Meghan's behaviour as 'rude' and others defending her actions as perfectly reasonable.

The clip has ignited a wave of commentary, with one social media user describing the moment as a 'cringe’.

Another chimed in: ‘She seems insecure regarding her husband. That’s why she keeps clinging to him, and any woman who stands beside him is told to stand beside her.’

A third added, ‘Craving for attention and the camera.’

‘Always wanting to steal the spotlight,’ a fourth said.

‘Wow, that’s incredible. Does she have no idea how she comes across to everyone else,’ another commented.

Yet, not everyone was quick to judge.

Some commenters have come to Meghan's defence, arguing ‘the woman can’t breathe without someone criticising her’.

‘Meghan is beautiful, and Harry looks happy. Now everyone just go and mind their own business,’ one wrote.

‘I think Meghan was correct on this occasion. I would have done the same,’ another said.

“That lady was blocking Harry. Why would Meghan move away from her own husband?’ a third asked.

The event itself was a cheerful one, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sharing a kiss onstage and walking hand-in-hand, seemingly in good spirits.

The polo match supported Harry’s Sentebale charity and coincided with the announcement of two new Netflix series the couple is working on as part of their multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming giant.

The couple released their first documentary in 2018, in which Markle shared her ‘intense’ moment meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II for the first time.

Meghan's return to her lifestyle roots is evident in her producing and starring in a show focused on cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship. The second series will delve into the world of polo.

Meghan's foray into lifestyle content is not new.

Before her marriage to Prince Harry, she ran a successful blog called The Tig, which she had to retire upon her engagement.

Now, with the launch of her brand, American Riviera Orchard, she is set to explore food, kitchen products, cookbooks, and even cosmetics, including makeup and skincare.

Did anyone notice that all the men were on one side and the women on the other seems logical to suggest she move to the other side. These people were more than likely the ones also moaning about the height of her heel. Some people just want to have a bitch about anything and everything let the woman be.

do you honestly want to know? Not royalty in my eyes gave that up. BOOHOO now has no police protection in England. SHAME ON YOU ENGLAND.

WHY> SHE IS IN OUR FACE.

What was Megan even doing on the stage? Harry and his team won the trophy, not her. In my opinion she shouldn't have been up there at all, she's always trying to be in the spotlight, I just wish she'd back off and let him take the glory for what his team achieved. She's an interfering, self opinionated, moron.

l don't know why either and who cares ! Meghan Markles could never have matched Kate in manners and eloquence anyway and just wanted to do things her way and felt suffocated by all the rules. She would have been missing the US where everything is so different but it's just a pity she met Harry and buggered eveything up.Another muck up like like Wallis Simpson and Edward,Poor George he didn't want to be king and his wife Elizabeth never Edward.

I guess you haven't seen the photos of Princess Di & Kate standing beside their princes when they have won at polo, over the years this has become quite common. Of course, we are intitled to our opinion, but a little bit of research goes a long way

l am not really interested in royalty so don't also take note of what they are doing all the time so could have missed a lot .Just tradition going back centuries but brings the money into Britain l suppose.
