Discover the secret behind Jackie O's incredible weight loss!

Radio star Jackie 'O' Henderson has captivated the nation for over two decades as the co-host of the wildly popular Kyle and Jackie O Show, setting new records with her on-air partner, Kyle Sandilands.

In a heartfelt conversation with her loyal listeners, Jackie O has openly discussed her remarkable weight loss journey, despite facing scepticism from some who doubted her achievement.

It all began when she decided to make significant lifestyle changes. Jackie shared with reporters that her success came from a combination of three key factors: giving up alcohol, following a healthy diet, and exercising regularly.

The outcome was truly impressive, as she reportedly lost 18 kilograms in just six months.

Jackie's unwavering commitment not only transformed her physical appearance but also revitalised her life, health, and overall well-being.

Throughout her journey, the radio host has remained transparent about both her challenges and triumphs, emphasising that her transformed figure is not the result of any quick fixes or magical potions.

Despite her honest approach, Jackie has faced criticism from those who insist there must be more to her weight loss story than she admits. In response, she confidently asserts, ‘I didn't take some magic pill.’

While her fans shower her with admiration and curiosity, Jackie O grapples with the insinuations that she's concealing something. Addressing the doubts head-on, she explains, ‘What bugs me the most is that people don't believe how I lost it. I lost weight quickly, and they think I'm taking Ozempic.’

Nevertheless, Jackie stands unwavering, revealing the true secret behind her newfound outlook. Faced with friends questioning her methods, she confidently declares, ‘I [expletive] did it the way I said I did it.’

Despite her accomplishments, it's disheartening to see her success overshadowed by a fixation on her looks and dress sizes. Source: Jackie O/Instagram

As Jackie's weight loss efforts have paid off, she finds herself confronted with an unexpected hurdle—being defined primarily by her slimmer physique in the midst of newfound media attention.

While she's done the work and proven her worth in the industry, it's disheartening to have her success overshadowed by a fixation on her looks and dress sizes.

'The narrative of “you're prettier now because you're skinny!” That I don't like at all,' she admitted.

'People are saying that the fact I'm on the cover of a magazine is bad. They'll say, “They didn't want her when she was fat,” and this is the wrong message to send. Like I'm only on the cover now because I've lost weight... but that isn't the case.'

Despite the backlash, Jackie remains proud of her accomplishments and her journey. After years of prioritising self-care and personal growth, she's become more open to media opportunities and embracing her newfound health and happiness.

'I didn't really like who I was back then, and it wasn't how I looked. I just really needed to do the work on myself,' she revealed.

'Once I made changes to start treating my body better and trying things like meditation, therapy, eating well, and exercising, I just became a different person, and it was like I came out through a dark space and just got happy again.'

I read Jackie O is with WW. Weight watchers is fine if people stick with it, after they lose the weight. It's a bit sad when people put on weight, and lose their lifetime membership.
I know someone who lied about her height (made herself taller) so she could save monthly fees when losing weight. ie. she got results quicker for her goal weight.

Good on her. Weight loss is a personal thing and if this made her feel better about herself then great. But we should be congratulating her for feeling better about herself rather than how she looks. Well done Jackie.

Being serious about losing weight no matter how much is a lifestyle choice and takes some hard mental strength to achieve, it is not spmething that you can take for granted nor can you allow yourself to slip back into your old habits once you have reached the weight that you set as your goal. As someone who has battled with my weight since I was a young teenager I know what I need to do to lose weight and the only reason that I have failed is because of my mindset I discoverd a long time ago that in my case excercise was what I needed more so that counting calories, or eliminating certain foods from my diet I embarked on a very strict regime a few years ago ,one that involved walking up to 7 km a day eliminating alcohol and most of the foods that I loved. I lost over 40kilo and loved the way that I looked I honestly looked fabulous but I had absolutely no social life, refusing to go out with friends so as not to be tempted to drink or to eat the foods that I had decided to eliminate; my 7km walks every day also limited time with my friends. I became addicted to the need to keep up with the weight that I wanted to be, unfortunately that was not the same weight that my body wanted to be. My weight loss journies over the years have shown me what I myself need to do but knowing and doing are two different things.

The sad thing is that my daughter's doctor gave her a script for it she will have to pay the 132 for a month's supply knowing that it is in short supply, which compounds the problem because she can't get it and yet it would help her considerably if it works. A catch 22 situation.

Yes she did it with WW, but there are no bells and whistles with WW. You are responsible yourself for the amount of weight that You lose and how quick You lose it. You can do it online or in weekly groups. Full support by coaches both ways. No skimping on food. Just being more aware of what you are putting in your meals and your mouth, along with encouragement to exercise, your way at your own pace. It's not a race, it's not a diet. It's a lifestyle choice. And because Dieters are getting it, Diabetics who need it can’t get it . 🙁 It really lowers blood glucose and is an excellent medication for Diabetics. 👍 …. who are the Patients it was meant for in the first Place. 🙄
