I read Jackie O is with WW. Weight watchers is fine if people stick with it, after they lose the weight. It's a bit sad when people put on weight, and lose their lifetime membership.
I know someone who lied about her height (made herself taller) so she could save monthly fees when losing weight. ie. she got results quicker for her goal weight.
 
Good on her. Weight loss is a personal thing and if this made her feel better about herself then great. But we should be congratulating her for feeling better about herself rather than how she looks. Well done Jackie.
 
Being serious about losing weight no matter how much is a lifestyle choice and takes some hard mental strength to achieve, it is not spmething that you can take for granted nor can you allow yourself to slip back into your old habits once you have reached the weight that you set as your goal. As someone who has battled with my weight since I was a young teenager I know what I need to do to lose weight and the only reason that I have failed is because of my mindset I discoverd a long time ago that in my case excercise was what I needed more so that counting calories, or eliminating certain foods from my diet I embarked on a very strict regime a few years ago ,one that involved walking up to 7 km a day eliminating alcohol and most of the foods that I loved. I lost over 40kilo and loved the way that I looked I honestly looked fabulous but I had absolutely no social life, refusing to go out with friends so as not to be tempted to drink or to eat the foods that I had decided to eliminate; my 7km walks every day also limited time with my friends. I became addicted to the need to keep up with the weight that I wanted to be, unfortunately that was not the same weight that my body wanted to be. My weight loss journies over the years have shown me what I myself need to do but knowing and doing are two different things.

The sad thing is that my daughter's doctor gave her a script for it she will have to pay the 132 for a month's supply knowing that it is in short supply, which compounds the problem because she can't get it and yet it would help her considerably if it works. A catch 22 situation.
 
Yes she did it with WW, but there are no bells and whistles with WW. You are responsible yourself for the amount of weight that You lose and how quick You lose it. You can do it online or in weekly groups. Full support by coaches both ways. No skimping on food. Just being more aware of what you are putting in your meals and your mouth, along with encouragement to exercise, your way at your own pace. It's not a race, it's not a diet. It's a lifestyle choice. And because Dieters are getting it, Diabetics who need it can’t get it . 🙁 It really lowers blood glucose and is an excellent medication for Diabetics. 👍 …. who are the Patients it was meant for in the first Place. 🙄
