Coles worker’s moving ‘act of kindness’ leaves a customer bawling in tears!

If all the bad news you’ve heard of late has left you feeling a little heavy lately, we can assure you this story of a customer’s heartwarming experience at Coles will restore your faith in humanity.
Facebook user Suzanne has shared in a post that she had been attempting to pay for her items at the Coles Arana Hills store until a storm abruptly cut the power to the shopping centre. The outage barred her from being able to process the payment on her mobile phone.
Just as she was thinking of returning her items back to the shelves, Josie, a Coles worker who had just finished her shift for the day and was waiting in line with her to pay for her own items, stepped in to help. Without any hesitation, the superstar employee decided to pay for all of Suzanne’s groceries out of her own pocket. This moving act prompted Suzanne to reach out to the Coles bosses to commend the wonderful employee.
The Coles management team responded to Josie’s act of kindness by saying how proud they were of her.
“At Coles, we see examples of team members going above and beyond for customers every day,” the spokesperson said.
“We are proud to hear that team member Josie from Coles Arana Hill was able to assist this customer; hopefully this will inspire similar acts of kindness within the store and community.”
