One of my friends gave me some wonderful advice that I have never forgotten. In fact, I try and live by this mantra every day of my life as it has helped to make me a much better person in so many different ways...

IN ACCEPTANCE LIES PEACE

If something worries you and you cannot change it, just try to accept it and move on. This will stop you from beating yourself up over things that are not going to change.
If you can honestly and sincerely try to adopt this to everything in your life you will be far less depressed, and worried and get far more sleep! Try to accept the things that you cannot change, and just accept them and carry on. Why waste precious energy and concern when you have no control over the results or ramifications? You will feel far more relaxed and less stressed in everything you do if you can follow this advice every day.

Members! It's (finally) time for another competition!

This month, we're looking for the best piece of advice you've ever received OR that you've given. Did your mum tell you to wash behind your ears or always eat your vegetables? Perhaps the advice was to be kind to strangers. We want to hear from you.

The top answer will win a $100 voucher to (your choice) of either Woolies, Coles, IGA or ALDI. We plan to run this competition until the end of October.

Happy writing! We can't wait to read all your wonderful advice!

My Dad always said, 'always think of the next person'. If you make a mess, clean it up before someone else has to deal with it.

The best piece of advise given to me was when I was young was"Manners count". It would not work well with the young today.

Adventure is inconvenience rightly considered -
and inconvenience is an adventure
wrongly considered!

I don't know the source but whenever I get lost or something I think of this.

To me the greatest advise ever is “All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must do to them”.
If everyone lived by this, the world would be a better place to live in.

I was always told that unless I had something nice to say about someone it’s best to say nothing at all.
If Meaghan Markle had been given this advise she would be better liked today.
