A 'grateful' thread...

Good morning members!

I just wanted to try something new and different this week. Each day, I'm going to post one thing I'm grateful for. Feel free to join me! If not, just enjoy reading :)

Today, I’m very grateful for the lovely barista that made my morning coffee. Not only did he make it very tasty, but he was also so friendly at the same time. It made my day. I’m sure he’s not reading this, but I’m grateful for that interaction!

I’ve been practising the art of gratitude for many years. My husband and I share three things each of us is grateful for at the end of each day. There’s so very much we can find that makes us thankful. To choose just one to answer your question, I say it’s my lovely husband.

I am grateful that I had the chance to watch the Queens funeral. It was a moment in history, beautifully carried out and seemingly without a hitch. The richness of the pageantry and pomp is something only the British can carry off with some panache.

I am grateful for my wonderful husband. After two failed marriages I was beginning to think that it was me that went wrong. I did not want to get married again or even open my heart again until the day I met Gus. He showed me what true love is, he is a wonderful human being and I am grateful every day for him

Today I am grateful to have woken up in the very Sunny Brisbane! I went for a beautiful run along the river and found myself in Southbank! It was so nice to see so many people out and about enjoying their morning. I know I'm only supposed to pick one thing - but I am also grateful for how friendly everyone seems in this city! Have spoken to a few people here and there who have been so kind and helpful.
