My daughter got rid of her son's dummy at 4 months and he is now self settling with his thumb. I think a thumb is harder to get rid of than a dummy. My step daughter got her 1 year old daughter to leave it for the dummy fairy. Easily done without it being missed.

I agree. When I had a refrigerated, reverse cycle system put in to cover the kitchen, dining and lounge room I said if ever it got too hot we could sleep in the lounge. Never needed to sleep in the lounge after installing ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

And choice reviewed bladeless fans and didn't recommend any.
