Woolworths has recently shared a money-saving hack on its official TikTok page, explaining how its customers can score items with slashed prices.

In the video, a voiceover said: "Get bang for your buck at Woolworths."

“Don’t sleep on our end of aisle bays, they’re loaded with specials.”

The video also reveals how shoppers can easily spot product markdowns in Woolies stores nationwide.

“And if you like scoring bargains, make friends with these yellow-stickered items,” a voiceover says.

The video went viral, garnering more than 41,000 views and over 2,500 likes from customers excited to try out the hacks for themselves!.

One person wrote: “I love Woolworths so much.”

"Woolworths is the best I shop there all the time," another added.

It should be noted that Woolworths’ latest video tutorials came after a number of complaints from shoppers accused the supermarket giant of unfairly raising prices on their products overnight.

A Woolworths spokesperson addressed the claims, saying that the increase in prices stemmed from the rising wholesale costs.

The spokesperson said: “In response to a wholesale cost increase from the supplier, we've updated our retail prices.”

“We understand that every dollar counts and never take the decision to increase prices lightly."

“We'll continue to work closely with our suppliers to offer value and competitive prices across our customers’ shops.”

I guess we can expect more money-saving hacks from Woolworths in the coming weeks! Finger’s crossed eh?

My Woolies, apart from specials and markdowns at the ends of the aisles, frequently has stock which is being discontinued.....at huge reductions.
Certainly worth looking out for.
Sometimes, there are worthwhile items I've never even seen in the store.

Increased prices because of increased costs?? Then why do online shoppers get exclusive specials when staff time is needed to fullfill their order? I notice when limited supply is in stock of any item the price is always jacked up and reduced when stock is plentiful. Also specials on crap like sweets, chips etc. Pet food, meat and other general staple items are always increasing and not by a few cents, usually anywhere between 10-25%. I saw a "special" on an item the other week saving you 5c.
