Mmm, hot chips and gravy - is there any better comfort food on a cold winter's day? We think not! But what happens when you're craving this delicious dish and your local takeaway is out of gravy, or (more likely) you’re ensconced on the couch and can’t be bothered to go out?

The rich gravy is made with natural flavours and colours and features herby notes that perfectly complement your hot chips.
If you're looking to nab this new, delicious offering, the product is available for purchase from all Woolworths stores nationwide. You can also order it via Woolworths' website.
This is a game changer for chip and gravy lovers everywhere. In fact, many food lovers are already raving over the new product, with some taking to social media to show their excitement for the new item.
One person wrote: “OMG and it's the colour I like as well, SOLD!”
“Get in my belly!” another exclaimed.
A third joked: “Hangovers just got one step easier.”
Honestly, we’re really excited to try this new product as well. However, we do understand that not everyone is a fan of pre-packaged gravy, especially with the amount of sodium and preservatives it contains.
So, if you're looking for a delicious homemade gravy recipe, we recommend checking out this video:

In the video, Todd, who runs the channel Todd's Kitchen, said that in order to make a delicious gravy, you should start by mixing together corn flour and milk in a bowl.
"What the corn flour does is work as a thickening agent for the gravy," Todd quips.
Next, heat up beef or chicken stock in a pot on the stove.
Then, add Worcestershire sauce to taste.
Once the stock is simmering, pour in the corn flour and milk mixture. Stir continuously until the gravy has thickened to the desired consistency.
And that's it! Your gravy is now ready to enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 2 cups stock (beef or chicken)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the milk and corn flour until the corn flour is dissolved.
2. In a pot on medium heat, bring the beef stock to a simmer.
3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, then pour in the corn flour and milk mixture.
4. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens to a gravy consistency.
5. Once thickened, remove from heat.
Any other SDC members out there who love gravy as much as we do? If you have any recipe tips, we’d love to hear them.
