Woolworths announces major offerings for Everyday Rewards members

If there's one thing that resonates with every Aussie, it's the thrill of a good bargain.

Especially amid today's economic turmoil, the quest to maximise the value of our shopping budget in the face of rising living expenses has taken centre stage.

For those who are part of Woolworths' Everyday Rewards program, their loyalty is about to pay off in a truly exciting manner.

Woolworths is enhancing its commitment to retaining customer loyalty by providing exclusive savings for Everyday Rewards members.

Starting August 23, Woolworths supermarkets and Metro stores are introducing a new feature: in-store and online Member Prices, accessible solely to Everyday Rewards members.

How to Access Exclusive Member Specials

If you're already a member, begin shopping for products marked with an Everyday Rewards Member Price shelf ticket (orange symbol shown above) at Woolworths. Scan your Everyday Rewards card at the in-store checkout.

For online orders, shop the products marked with a Member Price symbol, and ensure that your registered Everyday Rewards Card is added to your account before finalising the transaction at checkout.

If you're not a member, you can join online or by using the QR code in-store. Start shopping and scan your Everyday Rewards card at checkout. Savings will be automatically applied during checkout.

Different offers are available every week, allowing customers to enjoy Member Prices on a diverse range of in-store and online products.

Initial offers include purchasing three items from the Greenseas Tuna 95g range for just $4.50. These items are ordinarily priced at $2.60 each, resulting in an immediate savings of $3.30.

Customers can also take advantage of a deal that features two Woolworths Snack Pots for $10, which saves $4 compared to the usual price of $7 per pot.

This announcement follows Woolworths launching its 'Prices Dropped for Spring' campaign. Over 450 in-store products have seen price decreases, including lamb roasts, white potatoes, and fresh bagged salads, estimated to save consumers around 17 per cent on their shopping lists on average.

Natalie Davis, Woolworths Supermarkets' Managing Director, shared that the initiative was a response to customers' need for financial relief.

'Our research shows that customers are using more hacks to save on their grocery shops. Buying products on special is at the top of the list, with meal planning not far behind,' she said.

'With this in mind, we looked at how we could create healthier meal ideas, including affordable lamb roast, weekday dinners and healthier lunchbox snacks kids will love.'

The campaign will last from August 22 to November 23, 2023.

I decided to ring about my wet, blood chicken and report it. I could not face cooking and if it was safe. They did refund my money and I got a further credit.

CONGRATULATIONS! Good on you for standing up to them, not always easy to do. An extra credit can go a long way in today's climate too.
You wouldn't have knowingly bought this product if you were aware of the contents as shown in the photo.

I am certainly not impressed by this initiative! It seems the idea is to raise other prices to pay for these discounts. I could not believe it when my hubby did some shopping at Woolies, based on my pre prepared list, and came home with a 2kg bag of sugar for $2.85, when last week it was $2.20. That's an increase of 45Cor approximately 20%. I've put in a 'please explain' but am not holding my breath for a reply! Coles is advertising the same product for the $2.20 price it has been for a while. The worst of it is I live in the Burdekin, where the sugar originates!!!

You know what If Woollies and Coles ditched these stupid rewards schemes and offered genuine prices for goods then everyone would save. The only reason they have them is to over inflate prices and then offer fake discounts. Imagine how much these supermarkets could save if the didnt have to pay the people running them. The only reason they have rewards programs is because not everyone signs up for them and pay full price. And Woollies and Coles play on this. Its a known fact that these two businesses prey on suppliers to lower their prices so the two Behemoths can make huge annual profits. Wake up Australia Your being shafted

Kind of reminds me when I used to work at a Toyota Car Sales. There was Holden and Suzuki and Hyundai all close nearby. Each would have their sales but not at the same time as another car yard, taking it in turns so to speak. Have you noticed this is what Coles and Woolworths also do especially when they are selling the same product?
