Woolworths announces major offerings for Everyday Rewards members

If there's one thing that resonates with every Aussie, it's the thrill of a good bargain.

Especially amid today's economic turmoil, the quest to maximise the value of our shopping budget in the face of rising living expenses has taken centre stage.

For those who are part of Woolworths' Everyday Rewards program, their loyalty is about to pay off in a truly exciting manner.

Woolworths is enhancing its commitment to retaining customer loyalty by providing exclusive savings for Everyday Rewards members.

Starting August 23, Woolworths supermarkets and Metro stores are introducing a new feature: in-store and online Member Prices, accessible solely to Everyday Rewards members.

How to Access Exclusive Member Specials

If you're already a member, begin shopping for products marked with an Everyday Rewards Member Price shelf ticket (orange symbol shown above) at Woolworths. Scan your Everyday Rewards card at the in-store checkout.

For online orders, shop the products marked with a Member Price symbol, and ensure that your registered Everyday Rewards Card is added to your account before finalising the transaction at checkout.

If you're not a member, you can join online or by using the QR code in-store. Start shopping and scan your Everyday Rewards card at checkout. Savings will be automatically applied during checkout.

Different offers are available every week, allowing customers to enjoy Member Prices on a diverse range of in-store and online products.

Initial offers include purchasing three items from the Greenseas Tuna 95g range for just $4.50. These items are ordinarily priced at $2.60 each, resulting in an immediate savings of $3.30.

Customers can also take advantage of a deal that features two Woolworths Snack Pots for $10, which saves $4 compared to the usual price of $7 per pot.

This announcement follows Woolworths launching its 'Prices Dropped for Spring' campaign. Over 450 in-store products have seen price decreases, including lamb roasts, white potatoes, and fresh bagged salads, estimated to save consumers around 17 per cent on their shopping lists on average.

Natalie Davis, Woolworths Supermarkets' Managing Director, shared that the initiative was a response to customers' need for financial relief.

'Our research shows that customers are using more hacks to save on their grocery shops. Buying products on special is at the top of the list, with meal planning not far behind,' she said.

'With this in mind, we looked at how we could create healthier meal ideas, including affordable lamb roast, weekday dinners and healthier lunchbox snacks kids will love.'

The campaign will last from August 22 to November 23, 2023.

Which tells you that all of their products are overpriced to start with.

Why are these "specials" on the purchase of multiple items?
When on a budget, it is not attractive to buy more than one item of a particular product. I really object to the supermarket ploy of "offering" a lower price if you buy 2 items when you only can use one so when I see that sort of ticket, I walk away.
As to tickets which shout "LOW PRICES" I find that this is an out-and-out LIE. A year ago, 500gm Essentials butter was $5. Today, it has the LOW PRICE of $6.50, an increase of 30%

the bulk of which goes into the super funds most ppl in this country focus on. All super funds in this country have a holding in either or both the 2 major supermarket groups. Without them your super will not be showing any increases, this goes for the profits the big 4 banks make. Don't think the fund managers actually are the reason why your super is increasing, it's purely from a result of the profits made by these type of institutions that your super fund hold.

Since when? There is a Sth African Woolworths (owner Country Road and former owners of David Jones) but absolutely nothing to do with Woolworths Aust. WHL Sth African company. WOW is the ASX listed Woolworths group of Aust. 2 totally different companies. Plus, Woolworths still exists in the USA once again a totally different company.

Exactly, they don't even keep South African products. There is also WOOLWORTHS in South Africa, which is not a food market, but more like K-Mart, has completely different items in store and is no relation to Woolworths in Australia.

I can not keep up with the changes these supermarkets are creating .
They probably put certain items on special to get rid them . A couple of days ago I looked at the odd bunch items and bought some apples and zucchini’s. The apples were fine , but the zucchini had to be sold otherwise it would go rather floppy. I used the zucchini straight after I came home and made a beautiful zucchini slice for lunch . I had all the other ingredients like carrot , onions , garlic , eggs and herbs from the garden . I was happy with the dish and haven’t made it for some time.
