Why you should join SDC Rewards, according to members

Now, I could chat until the cows come home about why I love SDC Rewards and would love to have you join our community, but I thought, who better to hear from than members who already chose to upgrade?

So, what do existing SDC Rewards members have to say?

  • ‘Joining SDC Rewards was my way of giving back to you for all the effort put in for us. It’s great to have a forum specifically designed for seniors.’

  • ‘It is my only link to a community.’

  • ‘For me, joining SDC Rewards membership gives me the feeling of belonging to a wonderful, diverse family.’

  • ‘Happy not to have all the ads. Enjoy the puzzles, trivia etc.’

  • ‘I regarded joining the SDC Rewards as a worthy cause as well as deserving. It involves every day, with all the effort you commit, for newsletters and interesting information that appeals to this age group. Love the rewards' competitions and zero ads too.’

  • ‘My appreciation of the efforts made by the team day after day bringing us varied information not found in local newspapers and TV news made me become a Life Member as every dollar we can pay helps to expand. After a few weeks of new membership, I found out I had joined a gold mine.’
If you can, please support us by subscribing to SDC Rewards. It takes less than a minute to sign up, and you can rest assured that you’re making a big impact every single month in support of Australian senior-focussed journalism and entertainment.

We have three membership options: monthly, annual, and lifetime, which start from just 14 cents per day (less than $1 per week).

My husband and I joined the club and took advantage of the1.99to be add free on our phone and now being charged9.99 taken out of our account and we can not stop them not very fair is it
good reason why you don't need a mobile phone. My landline costs only $49 a month regardless of how many calls or where to .... including Thailand.

Hi members! We are all free to disagree in the spirit of honest and constructive conversation, but please refrain from using insults and personal attacks. If we need to choose between being right and being kind, we hope we all choose to be kind. Cheers everyone! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I certainly would not want to become a member if this is what goes on all the time...

I thought that they were stopping all Landlines this year? I hope that I am wrong, but that is what I heard.
there will be big problems if they do that. In the Bundaberg area, covering 100s of ks there would be so many without any phone. We have the biggest BLACK SPOT in Qld where mobile phones and computers do not work. I have a friend living at Sth Kolan who is surrounded by 3 towers yet neither of these things work. I also lived in the same area for almost 15 years. I actually had satellite connection for the computer but NBN decided to give it to a man with money.

Amidst high cost of living amongst other things I never pay for costly items especially apps. Don't like apps and never will. Bad for my eye sight too
If not possible to get decent ad free SDC on laptops which actually only works half time with crappy ads I now prefer to skim through the repetive stuff
There's plenty of free apps.

No I find some of the articles very repetative, most I've heard either on the news or Current Affairs programes. It's not the cost just don't need extra content. Don't do the quizzes have enough of those from a dictionary app. Love the jokes but they're getting a little repetitive too
some people are hard to please.

I’m very happy to have joined SDCRewards. I love not having the ads ! Sometimes I play games sometimes not, I don’t feel pressured to do so. I sit reading the morning posts much longer than I should. I love the friendship of the group a lot of us are isolated and might not speak to anyone all day so it’s nice to chat in here. Thanks to staff and volunteers for all you do, I love my mug it’s just the right size. I will be staying a rewards member there’s no getting rid of me !🤣🤣

I’m with Dodo, $30 a months. Unlimited Local & international & Unlimited Internet Access. I’ve been with them for roughly 10 Years. Also with my Dodo Internet, I can FaceTime everyone…..
Mind You if I could just get my 88 Year Old Mother to stop putting the Phone to her ear…… I don’t need to see Her ear canals….. Lol 🥰

I have too much trouble with your app crashing, and replies not posting don't think joining will make a difference
I'm not having a problem with it crashing. But I only have a mobile phone, no computer. The only problem I have with crashing is my arms, they don't always want to stand up to read the items. Oh my brain to. Forgot the alphabet 😭
