My weekend this weekend involves looking after 2 of my grandsons while their parents went to Melbourne for the weekend to watch their favourite team the Swans. They were lucky to see them win last night. As I’m writing this the youngest at 18 mths woke at 5.15am so back to early starts for me. The joys of grand parenting.

Dust my rooms then vacuum all over. Had sat before this reading my Word for Today and a fe pages of my latest Library book during then took off lounge chair covers and washing them. Dressed and abt to start mopping. Also clean bathroom.

I have my car to clean and vac and them wash it. I'll fit in going to Orion to check the price on a product. Then at 4.30 will be watching my Afl match my team fighting to stay in the top 8.........

Slept in till 10am. Done washing and a bit of housework, now I'm sitting in my recliner and watching shows I've recorded for the rest of the avo, then taking my dog to dog park to play with his friends. Probably do nothing tomorrow.

I am retired so can relax if I want to. Go and get the Paper from the driveway, feed my cat, clean litter box, unload dishwasher. Water on the boil make cup of tea, banana, vegemite toast, change blanket to a quilt (cooler). Cut up shrub branches and put in bin. Not very exciting I know and even though I am retired, the funny thing is that I still like Fridays and weekends, just as I did before.

Ah its a cooking Saturday for me and I'm excited to try new recipes and if they are good then will post over in the recipe section.

I'm trying to decide if I will take a trip down to Worigee The south coast of NSW tomorrow with two of my daughters . They are visiting another daughter and staying over night

Great day at Allan Border Field Brisbane for old fans and new. Meet and greet the players with the kids trying their skills, getting their autographs and photos. The heat is on Brisbane Heat that is. The current Champions.

Thought I'd add my weekend. At home Saturday with hubby got a fair bit of stuff done and some relaxing.
Sunday went to church and its baptism time down the beach afterwards. Our church service was awesome it was with regards to baptism. Six baptisms down Stanwell Park Beach such a beautiful morning lots of joy and love and the surf showed up and calmed just at the perfect time for each baptism Jesus is awesome. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Baking for me as the weather in Melbourne is crappy cold and wet and listening to music in the spare room with my boy and doing crossword puzzles etc.😊 oh and putting the finishing touches to my bark painting I’ve titled “surviving the snow” it’s really pretty if I do say so myself.🤣
