Three Word Puzzles

Three puzzles two extremely easy and one more difficult. Have a go see how you perform with a bit of alternative thinking.
1. If meat in a river (3 in 6) is T(HAM)ES, find a snake in a sea (3 in 7).
2. Which two words that sound alike but are spelled differently mean construct and invoiced?
3. (Harder) What commonality links stop and chew, hark and pore, cart and bake?

1. C(asp)ian Sea (i sorta cheated and looked up a list of seas/oceans though.
2. Billed and build

3. swap 1st two letters of each word pair to make new words . ie 1st two become chop & stew..
