Despite the unusual slices, many Reddit users expressed their excitement over the new concept. Some even agreed that they’d like to see it become a ‘regular offering’ at all Woolworths stores.

When I make pin wheel sandwiches I ask the have thebread sliced long ways as it makes my life so much easier and the bread is always uniform. The only store to do this for me is Coles! Many thanks Coles

Personally, I've never liked sourdough bread. If you don't eat it in a day, by the next day you can use it as a hammer to knock in nails.

I normally only buy Woolies 800g packets of fresh sliced bread. White or wholemeal. And they're sliced properly.

I haven't used a supermarket for bread since I moved to Melbourne, always use a local bakery at the moment he is a Vietnamese French taught baker of which nothing is too much trouble, sometimes I will get a dry kilo of bread or bun mix when I get the urge to make a item off the wall.

I think it's a great idea... 2 slices of this cut bread, butter, put all ingredients on, I could cut it into 3 or 4 sandwiches, put into lunch boxes... Otherwice I'd be buttering 6 to 8 slices of normal bread plus all ingredients.... Also I have never wasted bread, it goes in the freezer, gets toasted frozen, takes a couple of minutes to thaw naturally or I do sandwiches frozen and there beautiful by lunch time....I like to take a positive approach and find ways to make it better for me... I'm also not worried about other people's weight, their adults, their not my problem or anyone else's problem actually....
