Jonathan, I've twice tried to upload photos I've taken to his site but it can't do it and says that its too large for the server. I use a Canon Eos 80D camera and they are jpeg and not Tif. I haven't had any problems loading my photos to anywhere else before this. I really love photography and was hoping to share some of my photos. It also looks like I'm not the only one.

Hi @Jaclynn McKenzie, the best thing to do is to run your photos through tinypng. This will compress our photos down to a smaller size so that they can be uploaded.

Hope this helps! :)

Hi guys! It's 2022, and we have a new competition for you... This one is for the photographers (amateur, professional, semi-professional - we don't mind!) among us.

There's no theme or requirement for any professional equipment - entries using smartphone cameras are perfectly acceptable.

The only rules are that the photo was taken by you, and that you include a sentence or two to give us a little context/back story about the photo.

We'll be announcing a winner a month from now - i.e. Feb 11th.

Good luck!

P.S: If you're having any problems uploading your pic(s), please let me know and I'll see if I can help!
The first time visiting our daughter and her family in Switzerland we took a short walk from their home I came upon this field of Sunflowers with only one blooming. So I waded out amongst them and got this shot, compete with bumble bee taking advantage of the early bloom.Compress_20220112_174849_9600.jpg

My eyes caught the candle flickering in its dying moments. A symbolic ending to 2021, with its Covid and tears, into the promise of new candles, tall and bright for 2022.

From my attempts to upload photos it appears that anything over 1MB is too large for the server to handle. So I actually have nothing left to show. I'll have to revert to using my phone for photos.

Yes I have previously sent you a message that my photos, which are jpeg and not Tif will not load to your site. Disappointed. It says they are too large for the server.
