The first time visiting our daughter and her family in Switzerland we took a short walk from their home I came upon this field of Sunflowers with only one blooming. So I waded out amongst them and got this shot, compete with bumble bee taking advantage of the early bloom.View attachment 1020

This is one of my pride and joys, it is called a Stanhopea Orchid. The flowers emerge through the bottom of the basket and have the most magnificent scent but a short lifespan of 3/4days..

I stepped outside to see this amazing cloud formation on one of the stormy days we had recently
