I used to enjoy taking moon shots also but the camera I used for that has decided to play up. I have another great camera but it can't do the shots I used to take. I will post my favourite moon shot when I find it. I wonder if that little black rectangular spot down the bottom might be a satellight.
Thank you jonathan. On my old Newtonian telescope I had an adapter for my 35mm Canon AE-1. I would love to have had a motorised drive for it (my telescope) to enable more meaningful (2-6 hours) shots of the nebulae, stars and star clusters. One of the best to look at is the Jewel Box, situated very close to the Southern Cross. Stunning images in the link you posted, thank you for sharing.Love this... Did you use any special equipment? One of the hobbies I've always wanted to try is astrophotography.
