My grandkids and great grandkids all tell me “Gran you make good food “Their parents still say the same.

It's a fact my Nan "Grandma" came to live with us from England when I was 7 years old in 1963 and she was a great cook my mother never was my father could do a great Sunday roast but that was it she taught me how to cook and bake and I still do all the cooking in our house now and love it

Bless his little 💓!
Bless his Grandma!
Probably true.....how many littlies eat up everything Grandma serves but won't eat what their Mum serves?
My brother, sister & myself never had any choice at home, we had to eat everything.
Best memories are of eating a curry in summer while my parents sat & drank beer. The home was un-airconditioned, no fans going & temps in the high 30's. My nose would run, fall into the curry, I mixed it in & kept eating.
Never remember eating at Grandmas, she had 10 children & even more Grandchildren.

Never knew my grandparents but my mother was not a good cook but my father was but I mainly learnt to cook at high school and later from my mother-in-law who is a very good cook.
