See this driver's BIZARRE parking attempt that has locals shaking their heads in disbelief!

A photo of an unusual parking attempt made by a driver in Sydney has been shared online, which has resulted in quite a stir, both among the local residents and curious users on social media.

On Tuesday, a Honda hatchback was spotted in the parking lot of a shopping centre in the southern part of Sydney, and it seems that the driver was a little off target when it came to their parking spot.

"You have to appreciate the parking at Bangor shops today. It’s impressive," said a local woman who made fun of the situation and shared two photos of the parking job on a Facebook post.

Even though the car fits perfectly within the lines, it appears that the driver did not back the car into the parking space before getting out.

This means that the tiny hatchback protrudes rather awkwardly far beyond the front of the other cars in its row, as you can see in the photo below.

In fact, a number of local shoppers pointed out that the car had come to a complete halt in the middle of the road. As a result, those who were there at the time were forced to drive around it.

When several users saw the photos of the bizarre parking job posted on social media, many of them did not miss the opportunity to mock the anonymous driver and make fun of the situation.

"At least, they won't hit the doors of the car next to them," said one user, with another quipping: "Sensational effort!"

Others have said that the driver needs to "learn how to park," with one admitting that it's "really bad." One user even went so far as to say the driver's licence should be revoked.

Some of the people who saw that car on that day mentioned in the comments that they approached it cautiously under the assumption that someone was still inside it at the time.

However, the images show that the vehicle is parked with no one inside, and the comments from other users confirm that this is in fact the case.

Some people were more lenient than others and tried to speculate as to the reason behind the questionable parking, saying things like the person "must have been in a hurry" or "busting to get to the bathroom" in order to explain how they were able to leave their vehicle parked almost in the middle of the road.

What are your thoughts, folks? Do you think the driver must have left the car this way for a reason? Let us know in the comments below!

Did anyone think of pushing it back into line as the car might have rolled there after the driver left it parked in the right position in neutral and no hand brake applied. Then put any small object under the front of any wheel problem solved

Someone should have reported that car to the police, they deserve a fine

I'd like to think that it was for a good reason like unloading a wheelchair, but then it should have been parked. Maybe the driver was using one though and couldn't get back in to park it properly without a lot of effort.

If the driver was using a wheelchair the car would have displayed a disabled parking sticker, hence just an idiot?
Not necessarily, if someone had to have a temporary wheelchair because of knee surgery or similar. It doesn’t mean they are entitled to a disabled sticker. Still, I agree the parking is terrible.

Unfortunately, possibly sign of early dementia. When looking out driver's side window, may have thought the line of the arrow meant their car was in spot :/

I am not in a wheelchair but do have mobility issues in getting in and out of my vehicle and it is with great difficulty and pain if not in a disabled bay (I posses an ACROD sticker) - did anyone notice if the vehicle had an ACROD sticker so yes there may have been issues for the driver to get in and out of the vehicle if fully parked in properly which is why I get totally p----d when people park in disabled parking spots to use the ATM or I am only going to be a few minutes excuse so there have been times to park my car at a shopping centre I have had to use parents with prams spots which I do not like doing but it is the only way I can get in and out of my vehicle. I use a cane and the shopping trolley or walker for support to walk any distances.

I dislike bad parking. My thoughts though, are why the driver is not concerned about the car being hit when parked badly. I have scratches on my car doors from bad parkers, so usually try to park a bit away from shops so the lazy ones can have the close parks and leave me alone.
