Yes - I agree - the shadow would certainly be facing to the west but if the object is moving to the east then the shadow has to be following it in the same direction - east.

Maybe we need a new quizmaster
I agree about the shadow, just tested it, the shadow moves in the same direction of the item.

If both kangaroo and emu are on the coat of arms, why did I get it wrong when I said emu? As for the others. I am not American and secondly I chose correctly and hit wrong on a couple.
If you could kick yourself you would, I know, I do it all the time,{seniors moment}🧑‍🦳🧓

Question 10 - Oh dear! The question should have read "Which MAMMAL is featured on the Australian coat of arms?" for the kangaroo to be the exclusively correct answer.

Definition of a bird - "a warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate ANIMAL".

The shadow question is a load of crap! As someone else did, I tested it. Being 9.30 am in Perth, I walked east and my shadow was in front of me, travelling in the same direction. I then walked west and my shadow followed my in the same direction. Same with walking in a northerly direction - my shadow was on my left hand side, going north. As with walking south, except my shadow was on my right hand side, travelling in the same fashion.

The question is what would your shadow do on a moonless night in the Outback?? o_O

Just two rough guesses. But I’m not sure about the shadow. The question should read “ in what direction is the shadow cast?”

I agree about the emu, I chose kangaroo but only because the question said animal, and a purist would say an emu is a bird!

1. Why is it so, that certain members {I count them on 2 fingers,} happily complete the Trivia game and post results
then sit back waiting for and counting "THE LIKES ON THEIR SCORE 👍".
THEN SIT BACK AND DON'T GIVE A RATS ABOUT ANYONE ELSE WHO PLAYS THE GAME.
I would really like to hear their reason.
C'mon, don't be shy, front up, and let's hear the story.
ps ,we have one of them on page two, can you figure out who it is ???:unsure:

1 If you walked East you were on Sacred ground!
2 If you walked West you would have drowned!
3 if you walked North you would be hit by a mining truck, {I know I worked there!}
4 if you walked South OMG you'd be in Fremantle amongst the walking dead.

I dispute the last question - which animal is on the Austrlian coat of arms? The question is badly worded. It lists emu and kangaroo separately. I chose emu - which is correct and was marked worng. It is both the emu and kangaroo.

If so Emu could well be in the same category. I was served emu pate at a Cordon Bleu function once. As entrée to smoked crocodile ... Fortunately this was in the days of Nouvelle Cuisine : ie. big plates and microscopic portions so you could hide anything tasting awful under the parsley.
