If so Emu could well be in the same category. I was served emu pate at a Cordon Bleu function once. As entrée to smoked crocodile ... Fortunately this was in the days of Nouvelle Cuisine : ie. big plates and microscopic portions so you could hide anything tasting awful under the parsley.

Unfortunately those days are still us.

I suspect the person on the General’s blacklist isn’t at all interested in reading anyone else’s comments, so there wouldn’t be any problem. It’s why he is on the list, I believe.
