One useful scrap of advice from my early university days is as true now as in 1975:
Today’s complex world is all about information. No one person can possibly know everything; don’t even try. Some things will stick in your mind, some won’t. All you need to know is where to look and how to retrieve the relevant information.

Anyway that’s my excuse why I rarely get 100% in SDC’s Trivia. I find it great fun to check my wrong answers later on Google or from my bookshelves.

If you two and other members, like Midgemills, compiled some good Aussie questions perhaps Jonathan will set up a new system.

Actually, last year, I offered to assist the SDC with compiling questions for the Trivia. Never received a reply.

Of course, I would totally abstain from taking part in the Trivia Quiz.

I didn't know 'silver' was the answer to the mystery question. It spoilt my 1st 100%.
It's also the 1st time I get the mystery question wrong. Win some lose some.
