From May 29 to August 27, prices will plummet by an average of 20 per cent on more than 450 products—a move sure to bring extra comfort during the colder months.
The selection of goods receiving a price cut is not random; the items are curated to ensure that customers can continue enjoying their grocery essentials without the financial strain.
'We understand our customers' pressures and the need to budget for hearty, warming meals and grocery essentials for their families,' Woolworths' Chief Commercial Officer Paul Harker shared.
'Our Prices Dropped for Winter program is designed to give our customers certainty on the key products they'll be buying this season to help their budgets go further.'
Meat lovers can rejoice as the price of corned beef silverside drops from $10/kg to $8/kg, marking the product's lowest price since November 2020.
Whole chickens will see an 18 per cent reduction, going from $5.50 to $4.50.
For those who fancy a bit of pork belly roast or beef chunk steak, prices are tumbling down to $16/kg and $15/kg, respectively.
Vegetarians and pantry-fillers will also benefit from this winter sale—A 1kg pack of Uncle Tobys Oats will now be available for just $5, down from $6.50.
Pasta enthusiasts can grab a 500g pack of La Molisana Pastificio for $3.50, reduced from $4.
For coffee connoisseurs, a 20-pack of Vittoria Oro Coffee capsules is now only $9, a significant 30 per cent decrease.
Even medicine cabinets get a look-in, with a 36-pack of Strepsils anaesthetic lozenges dropping 21 per cent from $19 to $15.
