Royal experts raise concern over UNSETTLING detail found in new photos of Queen Elizabeth II — Is this a sign of the monarch’s worsening health?

Royal watchers have raised concerns about the health of Queen Elizabeth II after new photos captured an unsettling detail on the monarch's right hand.

The Royal Family recently released official photographs from the 96-year-old monarch's meeting with Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, capturing the attention of social media after users pointed out that the Queen seemed to have a large bruise on her right hand.

One user asked: "Lovely photo. What's the matter with Her Majesty's hand? Looks nasty."

"Is that a bruise on her hand? Looks like it’s been slammed in a door or she’s had a fall," another added.

This isn't the first time people have speculated about the Queen's health, as she was also photographed with "purple hands" last year after her brief hospital stay.

Shakespear Medical Centre resident doctor Dr Jay Verma explained that the purple hand may be a sign of Raynaud's phenomenon, a condition where blood vessels overreact to cold temperatures or stress.

"It might be Raynaud’s phenomenon or just really cold hands! The purple is due to deoxygenated blood," he said.

However, this latest incident has people worried as the bruise looks quite severe.

Royal fans have noticed that Her Majesty has been facing a number of health issues as of late, including a hospital stay, a back sprain, and most recently, Covid-19.

Although she's been attending major events and engagements in a limited capacity, she had noticeably been relying more and more on a walking stick.

Royal expert Daniela Elser described the Queen's "concerning appearance" as "striking" in comparison to the photos taken with Scott Morrison last year, pointing out that she looks slim and frail.

She said: "The difference is truly startling."

"In the intervening 12 months, Her Majesty would appear to have become markedly more stooped, much thinner and overall appears to have shrunk."

We hope that the Queen is doing well and that this is just a minor injury. Our thoughts are with her and the Royal Family at this time.

What are your thoughts on this? And have you, or anyone you know, experienced similar purple hands?

As we age our skin thins and bruises are far easier to come by. I have a nasty looking bruise on the back of my hand right now from an innocuous but excited greeting from my dog. The Queen is 96 for gods sake, she is entitled to be a bit frail and to need a walking stick for getting around. Be assured that she has the best medical advice but all good things must come to an end eventually.:)

I think she has done really well, I think it's time she hands over the Crown she us past retirement age although I'm guessing she won't be entitled to a pension. She's had and has a lot of luxury pampering that most of us could only dream of.

The bruises can be explained very easily. The article stated that Her Majesty was recently in hospital. The bruises are from having a canula inserted. It happens to me every time. The bruises take a few weeks to disappear so they would be on display for a while.

When you get older you bruise easily and don’t even realise at the time.

I think she has done really well, I think it's time she hands over the Crown she us past retirement age although I'm guessing she won't be entitled to a pension. She's had and has a lot of luxury pampering that most of us could only dream of.
She took vows to reign for her whole life and since she doesn't have any mental issues she will stay on until she is not able to and Charles will only become king once she dies, even if he is having to carry out more of the official duties. She may have had a life of luxury but she's also had to give up any personal desires she may have had to live a quiet life without all the attention after her uncle abdicated then her father died.

She can abdicate which alot if people think she will do. If she can no longer perform her royal duties which looks like she can't then she will have to hand it over to Charles. She doesn't have to stay Queen forever . She should be enjoying the rest of the time she has left and not be worrying about Royal engagements, which is what a Queen or King have to do
