Queen Mary of Denmark has been living her best life as a monarch, along with her husband, King Frederik X.

The Australia-born queen has been a subject of fascination among Aussie royal enthusiasts.

However, her recent public appearance raised several questions about her well-being.

Queen Mary of Denmark made her first public appearance after a horse-riding accident which left her with visible injuries.

This incident came after another alarming event, where she got knocked to the ground by a scooter in Greenland.

As she attended the funeral of former Court Chief Per Thornit in Copenhagen, Queen Mary had a large bandage covering a graze along her jawline.

Despite the Band-Aid matching her natural skin tone, its rough texture was hard to miss and hinted at the injury.

The horse-riding accident occurred at her home while resting between royal tours.

The scooter incident happened during a visit to Greenland's capital, Nuuk.

Queen Mary was struck by a scooter driven by an elderly man, to which she fell in front of her youngest children, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, and the crowd.

Onlookers were horrified as the Queen cried out and fell.

Yet, in regal fashion, she quickly regained her composure and stood up.

Her security team intervened to prevent the scooter from moving further.

The scooter driver—more shaken than Queen Mary—expressed his confusion over the event.

He initially wanted to reach out to the Queen but inadvertently hit his scooter's accelerator.

Despite these back-to-back accidents, the palace media team confirmed that Queen Mary did not sustain major injuries and continued her scheduled engagements as usual.

However, Queen Mary concealing her injuries spoke volumes about her commitment to her royal duties, even in the face of pain.

I've never had plaster on my body. I'm 62 and have never broken a bone! Injured myself just no broken bones.

I think in 13 years I had 2 days off and that was with a stomach bug.
Every year I only had 10 days off and that was Christmas, New Year period.

Some years ago my wife & l needed to take our nearly 100 y.o. friend (at the time) to an arbitration hearing. He was taken from the nursing home in a wheel chair & needed to be taken to a hearing specialist on the 1st floor of a shopping centre. Coming down the travelator l was in front with our friend & at the bottom struggled to release the wheelchair brakes. A woman with a trolley load of shopping behind my wife who had no control of the trolley knocked my wife to her feet seconds after l cleared the travelator. Her wrist hurt but we carried on taking our friend to arbitration. Only after that did she attend the Emergency Dept for an x-ray, to be told her wrist was fractured & was placed in plaster.

Thankyou, yes we had to keep going until we took our friend back to hospital after the hearing, which was also stressful in itself (action bought on by 2 daughters claiming he couldn't look after his finances; may spend the rest of the wealth he hadn't already given them, although he was in a nursing home & couldn't go anywhere). My wife has to put a brace on this wrist when the weather is cold.

Agree.Really?Fell off horse riding,then on something else then whilst resting between appointments had another accident and preserved.Call me when she cuts her hand whilst down on her knees pulling out bloody weeds from the concrete edge next to garden bed,bleeds all over the place,needs stitches and can't call cos her BIG OLD PERSONS MOBILE in her pocket,has broken in the fall that persued when trying to get up to stem the trail of blood from the footpath.Royal Resilience my arse.

Oh Ezzy, that is dreadful your poor darling wife. Those escalators are very scary if you are using a shopping trolley, walker or wheelchair. I am so sorry to hear this happened. Bad enough it was a fracture to the wrist thank heavens it was wasn't a lot worse. I avoid the escalators like the plague.

Thankyou Bella. I admit she was a real stalwart, suffering in silence for over 5 hours. I think what may have hurt more @ the time was seeing the disrespect from his daughters. As soon as they saw their father, one of the ladies (ladies?), threw a jumper at him & said in a mean tone, "here's your jumper". His son stated to me that he was just there to see what happens & sat at the back with my wife.

Our friend knew nothing about the fracture until days later. (I once told him that l loved him like a father).

So very true. He was a person who kept an impenetrable barrier around himself, but one day he dropped it, let us in & trusted us enough to share private information with. He has been the only man l have been able to say that to.
Many people told us after his death that we would benefit from his estate but we never expected nor received a cent. People still do things for good & the only personal gain is knowing you helped a needy soul.

Amazing how people assume just because you are kind to a person and have gained trust you might be put in a Will. No one helps another expecting anything in return.
