New investigation updates lead to shocking turn in Meghan Markle saga

The Royal Family has long been a source of fascination and intrigue with its blend of tradition, ceremony, and, at times, scandal.

The latest chapter in this ongoing saga involves the Duchess of Sussex and new details about her 'bullying' allegations.

This development has sent ripples through the royal establishment and has implications far beyond the palace walls.

Shrouded in secrecy, the investigation has come under intense scrutiny after former senior royal staff Samantha Cohen broke her silence in an interview.

Cohen's revelations have shed light on the internal workings of the royal household and sparked debates about transparency, accountability, and the treatment of staff within the institution.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has consistently denied the allegations. However, the Palace's decision to keep the investigation findings private was criticised.

Royal biographer and journalist Tom Bower suggested that withholding information is hard on the accusers and unfair to the accused.

‘It is hugely unfortunate that the bullying complaints have resulted in no resolution either way,’ he said.

‘To date, the palace lawyer’s investigation remains under lock and key, a situation which is hard on the accusers—and unfair to the accused.’

‘Now, finally, that dam has been breached—and I have no doubt that more will now emerge. The trickle of information will, soon enough, become a stream.’

Samantha Cohen's interview also touched on Prince Harry and Meghan's high staff turnover, which she attributed to the difficulty of finding suitable replacements.

‘I was only supposed to stay for six months but stayed for 18—we couldn’t find a replacement for me. When we did, we took them on tour to Africa with Harry and Meghan to show them the ropes, but they left (quit) as well while in Africa,’ she recounted.

The allegations of bullying were described in Valentine Low's book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown.

The book's claim that Cohen was 'treated harshly' and 'screamed at' by the royal couple has fueled the fire of public discourse on the matter.

In the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare, Prince Harry talked about a clash with his older brother, Prince William, as the Duchess’s bullying allegations towards royal staff were brought to light.

The Duchess of Sussex’s recent public interaction also sparked debate among people.

The incident—captured on video—has been widely discussed, with some labelling the Duchess's behaviour as 'rude'.

Bower labelled the investigation's refusal to publicise the results as 'unsatisfactory'.

‘That’s not to prejudge the matter or say what the verdict will be. But it’s very much to the Palace’s discredit that, whatever truth we arrive at, it should have to emerge in this painful and unsatisfactory way,’ he wrote.
