A stroke at the end of 2019, a broken hip and broken knee in2022, a broken pelvis and shattered wrist in 2023 and being more than three score years and ten means that i am largely confined to my study for safety and an SDC membership would most certainly enhance the quality of my life.

Am a Stroke survivor of 25 years after a home invasion, could not speak properly for 3 years, neither read, walk or write, now have NLHPL cancerI did volunteering for about 18 years. To help with my own rehab.
My aim to to give to back and help people. From just listening to them if lonely and have other problems I do not carry their worries, just want to help others.
My husband passed away 2020 in Residential Care.
I am not sad I keep my self busy, it is hard sometimes but buy helping others even with cooking meals. It has become my therapy. There are so many people that need help out there. I have a belly full of food and a roof over my head so I am rich in many ways. Jan

when you get into your 70s there is not much to look forward to and i like quizzing
ON a pension anything you get for nothing is a bonus

I have had one of those years, I have nearly lost my husband of 47 years, twice now through infection in his blood! He now has a bad heart, kidneys and a whole lot more! So with hospitals and all those Specialists it has been a bit hard this year! But I have been able to read all the items on this SDC on my tablet while sitting at the hospitals! So even if I can't win this competition, I can still enjoy reading all the articles on this forum. And no I can't afford to buy my membership, sorry hubby comes first!!

I have to be honest - I didn't know about SDC rewards club. I eagerly await your daily newsletter and read it, click on links but when it involves spending money I don't have, I glance over it. I hate putting out sob stories of how tough life is - everyone is doing it tough. Recently I lost my carer pension benefits because my partner who I care for got an inheritance, on paper we are over the limit - try explaining to the gov you can't pull a brick from a wall to pay the bills, groceries and his need for me to look after him hasn't changed, his was cut in half. We are wealthy in love and family and have our fur family but not the little extra stuff. I would love to win a years membership and see it enrich not only our lives but those around us where possible. Hope it does go to a deserving person regardless.

As a pensioner I have the time to become a member, but not the funds. I really think that I am missing out on something by not being a member, but I also need to wath the pennies.

i am a disability pensioner ....
so every little cent counts.
i dont have the option of working to make extra money.
any little win is a big win for me.
like the $50 bingo win.. that is 1/2 a weeks shopping to me .... thankyou so much.
so i am unable to justify the expense of sdc rewards club.
but would enjoy the extra news and information,
and love the competitions.

Winning this opens the door to so much more. More discounts offers, more opportunities to win more and most of all it would bring me in even closer to to the SDC community with the ability to see more of the members experiences and share more of mine. I know membership cost is kept to a minimum but sometimes financial restraints make the affordable quite unaffordable for some. Sadly circumstances have thrown me into that group for whom I have a whole new level of respect for.
