He is an actual meteorologist and oceanographer who writes his own reports every day, he also has a masters in science communication. He is not just an autocue reader, performer or set dresser doing fancy antics to hide the fact they don't understand what they're on about.

Well I can understand your sensitivity about your son and his qualifications but the emphasis was about political bias of the ABC. I doubt giving out weather reports falls in to that category. Your son needs to make a living and he obviously has done well. Presenting the weather report happens in every country in the World no matter what its political structure or leanings. They also take newly qualified and cadets, train them and you see them pop up on other networks once trained. The ABC is also an inclusive employer, they have a wheelchair bound sports reporter, a blind reporter and several from diverse ethnic backgrounds to name a few.
