I'm not a baker

A friend of mine gave me an easy peasy recipe for scones.
I haven't made scones for years but this recipe was too easy not to try.
For a small batch, say 4 or 5 scones use 1 cup self raising flour and half cup plain yoghurt. Butter wasnt mentioned but i rubbed some into the flour anyway. 20 minutes at 200C.
Leave plain if you like the jam and cream type or add grated cheese for a savoury snack for morning tea. We did the latter, Yummy😋

Self raising flour and yoghurt makes a good pizza base but awful scones

I would love to try that but don't ever use greek yogurt for anything. How about an easy recipe for fussy cooks like me Please?
Try this one. 3 cups self raising flour, 1 cup cream and 1 cup lemonade. mix together but don't over mix. This will be quite a soft dough Pat into a round about 1 inch thick and cut whatever way you want. 180 oven around 20 mins. Foolproof.

This recipe looks good too. Will keep it and try it. How many scones does it makes?

If I am in a hurry & want the scones for the same day I use the lemonade recipe. Foolproof and so yummy. Next day not as good.
