Husband’s controversial tip for a happy marriage receives MASSIVE backlash – “Terrible Advice!”

Fostering a loving relationship with a significant other requires a ton of work and commitment. The difficult thing about it is, there’s no written handbook on how to be the perfect partner. Most of us have to go through the process of compromising and discovering what works best and what doesn't — and what works for one person may not exactly work for another.
One happily married man shared a controversial tip for a successful marriage that triggered massive outrage.
American citizen, George Sisneros, recently celebrated a whopping 23 years of marriage with his wife, Vonda. He took to Twitter and shared a list of rules he wishes he had given himself if he could go back in time.

The tweet immediately stole the attention of many with over 100,000 likes but not everybody approved of what he offered.
Among his list of rules, George said that you should always be adventurous, be your partner’s biggest supporter and to always wake up with the thought: “She won’t out-love me today”. He also advised others to always ‘date’ their spouse, regardless of how long you’ve been together, and to never keep ‘score’.
The most controversial of George’s advice was to “Put your spouse ahead of your kids. They'll leave someday.".
Twitter users flocked to the comments to express their discontentment.
“Your spouse is a whole grown adult who can theoretically manage themselves and their relationship with you. Your kids are dependent on you for developing that emotional/mental toolkit.” one angrily wrote.
“As a mother, if this was my husband's viewpoint I'd leave him in seconds flat.” another hissed.
“Terrible advice! Remember you brought those kids into this world without their consent.” A third added.
George also indicated to never prioritise parents over your partner. “Put your spouse above your parents. I can’t believe I have to mention this.” he wrote.
Further down his Twitter thread, George also said “The only woman you should be alone with is your wife. This shows your faithfulness.” which prompted several more angry responses.
“No. Dear future husband, please keep your female friends. It's a sign of maturity and shows that you’re not cheating. It isn't just because you don't have the opportunity to.” one clapped back.
“Why? Don't you trust yourself? Do you show your faithfulness by being faithful surely?” another added.
George’s controversial list goes on with a handful more tips, including spending less than you earn and not watching pornography.
He concluded the thread with: "Conclusion: You don't just 'luck' into a happy marriage. It takes both people being intentional. Of all the investments I've made, my marriage is the one I value most.”
Well… that was quite chaotic, huh? Do you agree with George’s advice or do you have mixed feelings about it like the rest of us?
