Have you read about the ‘game-changing’ streaming platform that’s coming to Australia?

As we step into the future, entertainment has also smoothly transitioned into the digital age.

A new player has emerged that promises to revolutionise the way Australians consume their favourite content.

Meet Hubbl, the latest transformative TV technology that aims to streamline the streaming experience by bringing together all your favourite global and local streaming services on one convenient platform.

Operated by the Foxtel Group, Hubbl was first unveiled at Foxtel’s Upfronts event in Sydney last October.

The device, which plugs into any compatible TV, offers a unified user interface that eliminates the need to jump between different apps to find new content.

This innovative technology merges premium entertainment and sports, video on demand, and live channels into a single, seamless experience.

Hubbl has also announced an impressive line-up of streaming apps that will be available on its platform. Global services like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Paramount+ will be featured alongside the video-sharing platform YouTube.

But it's not just international giants that are jumping on board. Local streaming apps, including BINGE, Kayo Sports, Stan, Optus Sport, and Flash, will also be available on Hubbl. Free streaming apps such as ABC iView, ABC Kids, SBS On Demand, 7plus, 9Now, and 10 Play are also joining the platform.

In addition, Hubbl will host LifeStyle, a new streaming app that curates the best lifestyle content from around the world.

To further enhance the user experience, Hubbl is also launching Hubbl Glass, a TV with Hubbl and a high-quality, built-in sound bar.

This all-in-one solution requires only an internet connection and a power cord, eliminating the need for additional wires and devices.

'Hubbl will effortlessly fuse free and paid entertainment and sport from Australia’s favourite apps, channels, live TV and the internet into one seamless user experience,' says Patrick Delany, CEO of Hubbl.

'It’s a huge testament to the transformative Hubbl technology that these world-class and much-loved local partners have chosen to reshape the streaming experience with us. The future of TV and streaming is here.'

The device and Hubbl Glass TV are set to launch in Australia in the coming months. Details on Hubbl pricing, specifications, features, and on-sale dates will be announced soon.

A few months ago, another streaming platform was launched in Australia and New Zealand. It is the first streaming platform specialising in Australian film and TV content suitable for all ages.

And what’s even better? Much of the content won’t be available to stream on other platforms. You can learn more about this streaming platform here.

If it was someone other than foxtel, perhaps, based on the cost. But foxtel try to monopolise the streaming market and that is really annoying. Their streaming site Kayo is a difficult site to use so it better be worth it.
