I only went a week ago to the Casula Sydney one and I found alot of the things are cheaper .

I had purchased a 1 litre bottle of Kinkomen soya sauce at coles for $9.50 only to see the same one at Cosco for $10.00 but it was a 2litre bottle.

They also sell huge iced and decorated cakes which would cost $150 in a cake shop, Cosco sell them for $35.

They also have a petrol station next door that gives you 30c off alitre if you are a Cosco member.

Under your membership you can add one other person if they live at your address . My daughter added me.

Their meat is top quality

Huge muffins are 12 for $10

Croissants are the best we have ever had.

My daughters wedding in June is in The Hunter Valley and our family have rented a large house , we are having a 4 day whole family getaway and will be stopping at Cosco near there to bulk buy food for a couple of huge family breakfast

I get great savings on fuel that more than covers my annual membership. Bulk Kirklands (Costco home brand) washing pods, dishwasher pods can last almost a year, I like the larger paper towels, a friend got great savings on tyres and Spectacles and I can never leave without picking up a huge cooked chook for $6.99. Twice the size of Woolies who sell at around $10.99. I like to check out the different clothing and footwear. And goid deals on some homewards when comparing yo Harvey norman same brands. Yes. Yes, I agree.

I understand that a lot of people here site the excuse "I live alone, so not viable" so why not form a co-op with friends and buy certain products twice a year? And share the expense and products....where I live, I'll be lucky to see a Costco in my lifetime...country area hundreds of kms from a city...But I certainly would agree on products with friends and share...

?????? ..... I'm at a loss. Costco has been in Australia for many years now. It's not new and they have limited stores. To TOP it all off like a Bad Smell they charge people $65 Annual Fees just to allow people to shop their. They think that it's ok to treat people in this fashion. It may be ok for people living close-by and the $65 annual fees suits them and their cheap petrol but for people like myself that would have to drive there and spend about 45 minutes in the car each way and that's when there is limited traffic on the main road. Have to use main road to get there. I suppose I'm lucky that there is no Road Toll fees to add to the expenses of just driving there.

I did a big shop just the other day and bulk buy in cat food on sale, the coffee I use also on sale, so I purchased a few more and they expire in February 2025.
