Five-Ingredient No-Bake Cheesecake

Want a dessert that looks like you spent hours in the kitchen but was a cinch to make? Then this 5-ingredient, no-bake cheesecake is the one you’ve been looking for.

For the best tasting results, leaving the cream cheese out for a couple of hours at room temperature before mixing is important. Doing this will ensure that there aren’t any lumps left in your filling and will punch up the flavour of your pie.

Ingredients:

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

1 container (230 mL) frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 package cream cheese, softened to room temperature

⅓ cup lemon juice

1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, whipped topping, and cream cheese. Add lemon juice and mix or blend on low speed until all ingredients are incorporated and the mixture is creamy about 2 minutes. Pour into graham cracker crust and refrigerate until firm, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

If you prefer a more compact crust, take some crushed graham crackers (you can buy pre-crushed ones!) and mix them with melted butter for a more solid base. Of course, if you’re feeling a bit fancy, top the cheesecake with fruit like blueberries or raspberries for that extra kick of sweetness.

And there you have it – a delicious no-bake cheesecake made with just 5 ingredients! Perfect for a special occasion or to put a smile on someone’s face this Mother’s Day, this is a surefire way to impress. It's the perfect end to any dinner and is guaranteed to have everyone asking for the recipe!

Cool Whip is Kraft’s imitation of whipped cream sold frozen in a tub. It is most commonly used as a topping for desserts in quick and easy recipes. Whilst, it is not sold in Australia it is the most popular brand of whipped topping in America and Canada which is why you might come across it in your recipe searches.

Its major appeal lies in its long shelf life as it can be frozen for a couple of months. Kraft’s ingredient list specifies that Cool Whip is made of: water, glucose-fructose, 22% hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oil, sodium caseinate, polysorbate 60, natural and artificial flavour, sorbitan monostearate, xanthan gum, guar gum, colour.
